Can you sense that things are about to change? That there has been a shift in the atmosphere and that there will be endless possibilities in this new season?
New beginnings are an opportunity to leave behind the mistakes of our past, the sorrow or limitations that have acted as a barrier to the long held promises being fulfilled in our lives .
What Is your responsibility in this new season?
Firstly we are called to forget the past and to lay aside the burdens that hinder us from walking with confidence into that higher calling. In this new place, there is no room for the past and just like that full closet space, you need to throw out the old to make room for the new.
Free from these weights and to get to the new place you are sensing awaits you, you have to keep on moving and pressing forward regardless of how comfortable we may feel in the old familiar places of our lives. Do not let fear or procrastination rob and stop you from conquering the new place created for you in this new season.
Does this all sound like a lot of work?
Rest assured that you will not be able to do this by yourself and you are not expected to make this transition by yourself. Instead, keep looking up and focus on Him who is the author and finisher of your faith and the supplier of the enabling grace, the power within to complete the journey with Him and for you.
He is doing a thing. He is making a way. He is leading you to the new rivers where you will find refreshing, hope, and rest from the wilderness. As transformation occurs from the old to the new, your life will grow and flourish as new pathways spring up before you
All we need is faith in Him that he is well able to take us safely to our destination in this new season to the promised land.
